Freelance character design and animation for the interactive SMART CITY exhibit at ¡Explora!, the children’s science museum in Albuquerque.The mixed-reality table was created by art and technology collective Artific3 as part of the EPSCoR grant for funding science education and future energy grid technology, and is a part of Explora's new STEM wing.
The characters are known as Denizens, or affectionately as “Dennies”. Their animations, environments, and props were all illustrated and animated by hand in Photoshop.
